Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.

  • Use Times New Roman, 10 pt, justified alignment, 1.5 line spacing. Cite sources in Vancouver format (With square brackets). Text should employ italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

1) Manuscript file and general requirements

  • Submit your manuscript using the journal template and keep the section order consistent.

  • Word limit: Manuscripts should not exceed 6,000 words, excluding references and appendices.

  • Use consistent terminology, clear writing, and provide citations where relevant.


2) Page layout and typography

  • Font: Times New Roman (unless otherwise specified, e.g., algorithms).

  • Line spacing: 1.5 throughout.

  • Alignment: Main text should be justified.


3) Front matter

Article Title

  • Provide a clear, specific title.

Author information

  • List Author Name(s) and Affiliation(s).

  • Provide ORCID for each author (formatted as a link, e.g., https://orcid.org/0000-0000-0000-0000).

  • Identify the Corresponding Author Email.

Editorial dates (if requested by the journal)

  • Date Received / Date Revised / Date Accepted.


4) Abstract and keywords

Abstract

  • Length: 150–250 words.

  • Content: include purpose, methods, results, and conclusion.

  • Format: single paragraph.

  • Style: Times New Roman, 9 pt, 1.5 spacing.

Keywords

  • Provide 3–6 keywords, separated by commas.

  • Use sentence case and avoid abbreviations.

6) Citations and References (Vancouver Style)

  • Use the Vancouver referencing style.

  • References should be numbered consecutively in the order they appear in the text.

  • In-text citations should appear as Arabic numerals in square brackets, e.g., [1], or as superscript numbers if required by formatting.

  • If citing multiple sources, list numbers separated by commas (e.g., [2,4,7]) or as a range when consecutive (e.g., [3–6]).

  • The reference list should be numbered in the same order as cited in the manuscript.

  • Follow standard Vancouver format for journal articles, books, conference papers, and online sources.

  • Use a hanging indent of 0.5 inch for reference entries.


7) Figures, tables, algorithms, and equations

Figures

  • Insert each figure near its first mention.

  • Center the figure and caption.

  • Example: Figure 1. Caption text describing the figure clearly.

Tables

  • Place tables near their first citation.

  • Example: Table 1. Caption text describing the table and units.

Algorithms

  • Use Courier New (monospaced).

  • Label sequentially (e.g., Algorithm 1: Title).

Equations

  • Center equations.

  • Number consecutively with right-aligned numbering (e.g., (1)).
